Description
One painted banner for the Edinburgh United Tobacconists. The banner is white on blue silk, with a Union flag in upper right corner;, above the title, Scottish Regalia, a crown resting on a crossed sword and sceptre, on a red cushion with thistles to either side. Below title, there are a pair of clasped hands in a white starburst, above two tobacconists standing beside a large barrel, both with blue jackets, and waistcoats (pink on left, tan on right), trousers and hats, holding a pouch and a pipe. There are tobacco plants in either lower corner. The lower left corner is missing, the fringe only remains on lower right edge.
