Title
No. 6. A Romp, an illustrated page from 'A Day in a Child's Life'
Description
Groups of children in early 19th century dress dance together on the brow of a hill. Around their heads are wreaths of flowers, some wearing bonnets beneath them. A garland of pink roses arches over their heads and two single stem roses stand on either side beneath the scene, introducing the sixth piece, which is titled "A Romp". Three lines of music follow - a treble and a bass clef, but they are instrumental only, there are no words.
