Introductory image for 'A Day in a Child's Life', an illustrated children's song book
Description
A young woman holds a baby in her arms while beside her, a second older child holds onto the skirt of her dress and clutches its own apron in its other hand - arm outstretched. Behind them grows a rose, trained against a trellis. Both the young woman and the older child wear mob caps and early 19th century dress.
