'There was an old woman. She was a ragwoman and used to go roond the buckets and roond the doors getting rags. She had it in different bundles because she got different prices for the material frae Rodger & Tamsen.' Adam Davidson. (Rodger A. 'There was a person in Leith, her name was McGourty and she had what they called a three-day pawn. If you didn't take the stuff out in three days it was hers. Kate McGourty's a famous name in Leith.' Mr R McKenna
