Photograph of the newly-built church - the first building erected in the new Henderson Street - part of the great Leith Improvement Scheme - 1886.
In 1973 Leith Kirkgate formed a union with South Leith Parish Church. The old Leith Kirkgate Church at 6 Henderson Street Leith is still used as South Leith's Church Hall.
