The song sheet cover in black and white, is mainly composed of lettering; the title of the song and the names of the composers. On the righthand side is a copy of a photo of King George Vth, as taken by Lafayettte.
The bottom of the cover sheet finishes with the words, ' Sung by The Soldiers of the King'.
The song itself which was originally written in 1912 and was a popular music hall hit that was picked up by soldiers marching in the First World War. It became synonymous with the war effort.
