These photographs were taken during the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh's 'Night in the Garden'. As part of Year of the Homecoming 2014, the Garden opened its gates after dark to create an enchanting landscape of glittering lights and sounds.

The show was designed by light artists Malcolm Innes and Euan Winton, who used the grounds and buildings as a canvas for their dazzling installations. The Victorian Palm House and Inverleith House were both highlighted along the 1km route around the gardens.
