The photographs in this exhibition were kindly loaned to us by Bill Hall for our digital collections. It contains images dating from the early 1900s to the 1980s, taken across Scotland.
Brought up in Edinburgh he has collected many family photographs and items covering his mother's early years and his own boyhood.
The Lovat Scouts were a British Army unit first formed during the Second Boer War as a Scottish Highland yeomanry regiment of the British Army.
