Grays of George Street, Or James Gray and Sons Ltd. was an ironmongers which had traded at 89 George street since 1903. Previous to this it had occupied premises on Leith Wynd since 1818. Due to a number of retirements within the company's senior staff the shop closed its doors after 190 years much to the dismay of many Edinburgh residents.
