Shrubhill House was a 1960s office block standing on the busy Leith Walk thoroughfare. The building once housed the city council's social work department but has been abandoned since 2006 and has since fallen into disrepair. The office building on the site is to be demolished and it has been proposed that the area will be redeveloped into student accommodation and retail units.
