McKenzie, William Brown
Biography
William Brown McKenzie was born in Huntly, Aberdeenshire on 28th April 1914 and died in Edinburgh on 28th April 1976.
McKenzie started work as a wages clerk for Wimpey's in England before he moved to Alexander Thomson (known more commonly as AXT). McKenzie moved to Edinburgh with the firm in 1953-54, when he became Director and oversaw the setting up of Alexander Thomson's first office in Scotland at Pipe Street in Portobello and the building of their premises at Gylemuir Road.
