Torghatten is a mountain on Torget Island in the Nordland area of Norway. Linked to legend, it is a well-known coastal landmark throughout Norway, because of the distinctive large, natural hole through the mountain. The west side of the mountain was also the site of a fatal plane crash in 1988.
