On September 11 1997, a Referendum was held for a Scottish Parliament. In the Referendum people had two votes:
1. I agree/do not agree that there should be a Scottish Parliament
2. I agree/do not agree that a Scottish Parliament should have tax-varying powers.
The YES YES Campaign was the focal point for all political parties:Scottish Labour, S.N.P., Scottish Liberal Democrats, and the Scottish Green Party which were involved in the YES YES campaign.
