Description
Blue ribbed silk banner with painted design
in mirror image on both sides, silk fringe and ribbons.Title scroll, LEITH SHIPWRIGHTS. Central oval roundal with a painting of ship in dry dock. As supporters two shipwrights hold up a scroll with UNITED TO ASSIST. The left figure holds a hammer and the right figure, an axe. Above, crossed axe and adze, square and compasses, and a hammer and rivets. Below the date 1873.
