Newhaven on Forth Parish Church was erected in 1836 as a chapel of North Leith Parish Church. After the Disruption in 1843, the local fishing community left the local parish church and built their own church, St Andrews. In 1974, the congregation amalgamated with that of Newhaven on Forth Parish Church.
