Description
The certificate confirms the award of a degree to Iain Maclaren. Most of the Latin text is printed in italicised black writing. The parchment is headed with faded gothic type script. Maclaren's name has been handwritten in a gap in the text. This writing has faded over time. There are three lines for official signatures at the bottom, although only the dean of faculty's signature is present. The certificate is stamped with a large circular red seal.
