Biography
William Delacour was active as an artist in Great Britain from around 1741 when he was painting theatrical scenery. By 1752 he was working as a portrait painter but he also painted landscapes in Dublin, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
He settled in Edinburgh in March 1760 and died in the city in 1767.
