Biography
Jack (John) Knox was born in Kirkintilloch, studied at Glasgow School of Art and afterwards in Paris.
Knox joined the staff of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee in 1965.
Knox went on to become the Head of Painting at Glasgow School of Art in 1981.
Knox is now retired and devotes his time to his painting.
