Description
A board game with a rectangular flat board which folds in half. The front of board is printed with a picture of a dice, counters and a shaker, and inscribed 'Ludo The Ever Popular Game for two, three or four Players. The Chad Valley Games Made at Harborne England'. Inside of board is printed with patterns of squares, yellow, green, red and blue. Wooden cylindrical shaker and a gold rectangular metal box with hinged lid containing four dice of various sizes and plastic circular counters and wooden counters.

Ludo from Latin Ludo, 'I Play'. A board game for two to four players, in which the players race their four tokens along the board according to the numbers on a roll of a dice.
The game is a simplification of the traditional Indian Coss and Circle game Pachisi.
The game is popular in many countries and is known as "Ludi" in the Caribbean "Fia" in Sweden and "Mens-erger-je-niet" in The Netherlands.
