Strathie's Close. South side of Canongate behind Milton House -mostly demolished

Description

A sketch drawing shows a view looking along a narrow alley between houses in the Old Town of Edinburgh. The houses have chimney stacks, small windows and one has an outside staircase. Washing is strung from laundry poles on either side of the street.
