Excerpt from page - Leith Mount 1792 - " To be let an exceeding good house called Leith Mount, which belonged to the deceased James Chalmers, situated on the Queensferry Road near Leith Toll Bar - There are two good gardens and a horse pond and an enclosed field in front near an acre. Enquire at the premises". Edinburgh Evening Courant. April 14 1792.
