Description
The view from within a tall, vaulted building towards two arched windows. The window on the right has small step leading up to a pointed arch-shaped opening. On the left the window is carved in the shape of a short-necked bottle. The building is derelict, with fallen masonry scattered on the floor, and pieces of the external wall have fallen away.

Item is dated 29 July 1833. St. Cormac's Chapel is located on a small island off the West coast of the Knapdale Peninsula. Believed to have been built in the 12th century it is now semi-derelict. An early medieval carved cross stands in the grounds and is believed to be the burial ground of St. Cormac.
