A man sails a large model yacht on Inverleith Pond, Edinburgh. He balances precariously on the edge of the pond whilst he leans out towards the boat with a pole. Other model boats can be seen on the water.

Inverleith Park is located immediately to the west of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. The land was bought by the Edinburgh Corporation in 1889 from the Rocheid family and laid out as a park. Its features include football and rugby pitches, a cricket square, and a large pond. The north-west corner of the park is occupied by allotments.
