Description

A portrait of the Catholic bishop, Alexander Cameron (1747 - 1828), who sits in three-quarter profile wearing a coat, waistcoat, and necktie. With a slight smile he looks out of the picture at the viewer, his body and face turned a little to the right. Beside him to his left are a mitre and crosier, and William Nicolson's initials marking the date as 1818.
