The artist has titled this watercolour 'Kelso Abbey' but it has subsequently been corrected to 'Jedburgh Abbey' in a different hand. It does appear to depict the latter.
Jedburgh Abbey, a ruined Augustinian abbey which was founded in the 12th century is situated in the town of Jedburgh, in the Scottish Borders.
