Description
A busy street scene at the bottom of the West Bow, Edinburgh. The steep curving street is lined on either side by tall tenement buildings. There are shops on the ground floors of many of the buildings. The cobbled street is very busy with people. A piper is playing to a crowd of people at the top of the street. Two men make their way down the hill pulling a cart.
