Description
A piper sits in a small red cart and plays his bagpipes as it is pulled along by three dogs. He wears a cap and a long plaid over his shoulder. He travels past a harbour wall in Edinburgh that separates the path from the sea. In the distance, two boats sail around a lighthouse situated on a high wall that extends out into the sea.

Whenever Piper Campbell played
Old soldiers would arrive
As if called to some parade
That they would never dare to skive.
Whenever they heard that stirring noise
Those old boys knew they were alive.
