Description
A man walks up the covered passageway of Old Fishmarket Close. At the opening of the close, a sign hangs in the arch of the close noting that the close is called 'Old Fishmarket Close'. There are small sculptures of fish swimming around the sign. The close runs quite steeply downhill.

Old Fishmarket Close was home to a poultry and fish market in its heyday, and later was home to the last city hangman, John High who died in 1817.
