Falcon Hall was built in 1815 by Thomas Hamilton for Alexander Falconar. The house and its estate stood in the area now occupied by Falcon Avenue, Gardens, Road and Court in Morningside. Falcon Hall became a boarding school for boys for a brief spell at the end of the nineteenth century. The house was demolished in 1909.
