Cramond Bridge is located just to the south of Cramond, roughly six miles north-west of the centre of Edinburgh. There are two crossings of the River Almond here: the Old Cramond Brig which dates from the sixteenth century and a newer bridge which carries the A90.
Originally a separate village, Cramond is now a suburb in the north west of Edinburgh. Set alongside the beautiful Almond Valley it retains a picturesque, village-like feel. Cramond Harbour at the mouth of the Almond is a popular location for recreational sailing.
