Title
94, 96, 98 & 100 Potterrow
Description
The view down Potterrow, Edinburgh with its street lined with tall tenement buildings. The ground levels are occupied by many small shops and businesses including the entrance to the builder's yard owned by Wm Skinner. Drying rails for clothes are hanging out of many of the house windows. A lady in an apron with bobbed hair is standing in front of one of the shops looking at the camera. An old man with a flat cap and large moustache is showing similar interest unlike the group of women behind him who are engrossed in a conversation.
