Description
A man in a white apron and buttoned jacket stands in the doorway of J. Kilcoyne, small wares shop on Potterrow, Edinburgh. A sheet protects the window's contents from the glare of the sun. To the left of the shop a square entranceway is sign posted as the way to the stage door. A car is parked outside the Salvation Army building further down the street. The tenement houses above have an assortment of small windows and tall thin chimney stacks.
