Description
A woman peers eagerly out of a window below which a for-sale sign is displayed at Potterrow, Edinburgh. It is part of a row of tenement houses with shops at the bottom. Part of the Salvation Army building can be seen as well as the arched entrance into a garage beside which two women have stopped for a chat. The strong sunlight casts shadows of the buildings on the opposite side of the street on the buildings frontage.
