Two policemen stand on the St Bernard's Bridge over the Water of Leith, Stockbridge, Edinburgh. The bridge on Deanhaugh Street is at a crossroads with Hamilton Place, Kerr and Saunders Streets. The Stockbridge Free Church can be seen on the far left and in the centre the Edinburgh Savings Bank with its clock tower.
