Well Court clock tower
Description
A clock maker from James Ritchie & Son threads a rope through a restored clock face ready for it to be set into the clock tower at Well Court, Dean Village, Edinburgh. Two clock faces are leaning up against the base of the tower which has a wide-open painted entrance door. The courtyard is in front of the tower and two sets of gilt covered clock hands are lying at the foot of a clothes pole. Many ropes are strewn about the courtyard.
