An atmospheric snapshot of daily life on Potterrow, Edinburgh. Tall stone tenements loom over the busy steet with washing hanging out of their windows. Small shops line the street below which is busy with people. A small group of people stand chatting beside an arched entranceway whilst a lady pushes a pram up the road passed several small children sitting on the pavement. Opposite them men have been digging up the road and stand beside piles of rubble.
