Royal Coronation Visit, 1903
The city is festooned in elaborate decorations and crowds gather in readiness for the royal visit of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in May 1903.
Recent exhibitions

Edinburgh Photographic Society was established in 1899. Over the early years of the 20th century the society created a collection of photographs of streets and buildings of Edinburgh. This collection is their survey of the George Square Ward.

This exhibition celebrates the architecture and town planning of James Craig's original design taking in views of Princes Street, George Street, and Queen Street, St Andrew Square to the east and Charlotte Square to the west.

Unique views from and within the former New St Andrews House at the St James Centre complex prior to its demolition.
