Pentland Primary School is situated in the south of Edinburgh, a short distance to the west of the southern end of Comiston Road. It was formed in 2005 by the amalgamation of the adjacent Hunter's Tryst and Comiston Primary Schools. The school moved in to the old Comiston Primary buildings in 2007 following substantial refurbishment and extension of the facilities.
